Smoking Is My Choice, Lifestyle Nazi!

Saturday, February 2, 2008

I'm sick of all these bleeding heart liberals that are invading my life in some sort of post college narcissistic rage of mental masturbation. I smoke because I damn well feel like it.

Here's a news flash, your opinion doesn't matter. You know why? Because it's my life, not your life, mine! The most sacred form of property rights, my body! Mine!! If you don't like it you're going to need to go back home to piss and moan. 'Cause that's all you have a right to do.

The Insecure Narcissistic Lifestyle Nazi
These are the lowest form of scum on God's great Earth. All these people are either in college or graduated from one. They all get useless degrees in "arts", "philosophy" or "history". They pay $20,000 a year to read Shakespeare in an auditorium, when they could of just went to the library or payed for the book on Ebay for $5 and read it at home, for FREE!

These people look at the world from a narcissistic viewpoint and they know what's best for everyone. They live such unfulfilling lives and contribute absolutely nothing to society, that they have an overwhelming feeling of guilt that they are truly living a life of a loser. They drastically reach out grabbing onto any cause they can find and they always seem to find some sort of Lifestyle Nazism.

They always try to cloak their desire for narcissistic mental masturbation by drastically blubbering some altruistic cliche about children or the poor. They proudly announce they're saving children from the harms of second hand smoke, all the while banning smoking in a privately owned bars(which if you're not aware, is an adult place with no children. People come in to drink the poison of alcohol, but have no right to smoke a cigarette).

Are You a Lifestyle Nazi
Here's some tips for you...

  • Get over your insecurity.
  • If you try to tell others how to live their life, you're a fascist.
  • Your arts degree doesn't make you smart. In fact you're a total moron that spent $100,000 on an education you could of got for free at a library.
  • You don't need to feel guilty about having a car or owning a home.
  • Respect people's right to choose, even if you disagree.
  • If you have a problem with someone's freedom of choice, than tell them what you think. Don't try to get the government to enforce your ideals. If you don't like places that allow smoking, here's a big tip, DON'T GO TO THEM!
  • If you don't like smoking, make your home smoke free, because your sovereignty ends there.
  • Even though you think you're the greatest thing, the best thing that happened to this Earth, everyone disagrees, including your family and friends.

Friend,

You don't get a vote in whether or not I choose to get an education by going to college. I do. I did.

Don't like it?

Well, then that's your problem.

By the way, it's 'paid', not 'payed'.

nuff sed.

Pot to kettle "U'r black."

I agree, and I wish I would have written it. I think it's funny that liberals want to call conservatives "fascist" when THEY are the ones who want to control how we live our lives.

I realize that you didn't write this, but when the author says that Lifestyle Nazis should respect people's right to choose, abortion immediately came to mind. Do you agree with the author enough to say that it is a woman's right to choose?

I'm all for the individual. Cheers to the egoist. To each his own and so forth... But this is naive slander you're throwing up here. Everyone's got there own tiny thoughts to stir each other around and putting your teeth around arts degrees and liberal habits is a sordid way of giving a megaphone to amusingly tiny thoughts of your own.I'm worried about the collective meddle and guts of conservative constituency because often times they compromise their own ideals with negatively sharpened tongues lashing wildly at outspoken, transparent liberals. To shit with this bi-partisan, copyright titled, childish clubbing of the sanctity of the human beast. How easily we forget our places.

To the author of this post:
You're right, it IS your life and your right to make yourself smell disgusting, get yellow teeth and dried out, leathery skin and generally make yourself horribly unattractive while you slowly kill yourself. Be my guest.

However, you do NOT have the right to pollute MY air and force me to breathe fumes that not only are harmful to MY body but also smell horrible. Your rights end where My body begins. I have no problem with you smoking inside of a plastic bubble where you honestly are only harming yourself. But when smokers light up in a public area, including parks and apartment homes, they are not just hurting themselves, they are a nuisance to everyone else.

Have you ever considered that people around you may actually CARE about you and that is why they may encourage you not to smoke? Because not only do they want to have you around longer but that you might be more pleasant to be around if you quit. Nothing is worse than the smell of stale smoke on someone. YUCK.

Nevertheless, I still do support your right to smoke. I just wish you would but a plastic bag over your head while you did it so that it didn't affect everyone else.

To the author of this blog: The author of this post is obviously an angry person who is unable to form a rational argument. He/she uses generalizations and unfounded accusations in order to make some sort of point based on an emotional response. If you are looking for someone to make the debate for smoker's rights (which I do support - as long as it TRULY does not affect anyone else, which is difficult) perhaps you could find someone else who has a logical idea to present.

I'm sorry, but what is this ENTIRE post intended to do?

And this guy probably thinks it's the liberals who made the laws to wear seat belts and helmets. It's the insurance companies you freakin' idiot. Because when people smoke, or get in a car wreck then the insurance company has to pay a bigger (perceived) claim. It ain't the liberals it's the fascist (and you need to look up what fascism really is)wingers who want to control your life.

This guys right but its not only liberals imposing their will its conservatives too. There's drug enforcement laws, religious observances, drinking laws, affirmative action laws, and many ridiculous things in the government. The United States has become a constant attempt at the majority attempting to impress its will on the minority. It was never supposed to work out like this. However, abortion is not under this especially considering that its a separate human life that is being killed. If a person can get accused of two accounts of murder when they kill the mother and the baby, there's no way anyone can contest that it is not murder to kill only the unborn baby. Many people look to Europe and see them as very liberal however they have stricter laws regarding abortion than the United States. Also, abortion is a non-issue used by politicians to drum up votes from the religious right.

People, righting wrongs on the internet is like subtracting one from infinity. Just drop it, you're only encouraging him.

Funny that you'd accuse liberals of being guilty of trying to dictate what you do with YOUR body, it doing so is generally more of a conservative addendum. The millions of old white guys who think they have the right to tell women what they can and cannot do with their bodies come to mind.
I am a smoker and I dropped out of junior college to pursue intellectual pursuits without a price tag. And I completely, 100% disagree with everything you just said.

Wow... Just wow... First thing that came to my mind when I read this was "gay marriage" same principle, no? I have no real problem with smoking, just a non-hypocritical stance on things...
